September: Fall Launch
We're pausing our series through 1 Corinthians for two weekends we're calling Fall Launch. Not a launch of new programs, but an invitation to remember who we are and who we are becoming. Jesus gave the apostles an enormous calling — to bear witness to him to the ends of the earth — and then told them to wait. Before witness, waiting. Before doing something for God, receiving something from God. These two weeks trace that order: Week One — Waiting (learning the posture of dependence) and Week Two — Witness (letting that dependence turn outward in love).
